What is the Blue Safari submarine experience?

Blue Safari operates the only leisure submarine in the Indian Ocean. You descend to around 35 metres to see coral reefs, marine life and a shipwreck from a dry, air-conditioned cabin — no diving certification or swimming required. The full outing lasts about two hours, with roughly 40 minutes submerged.

Who can go on the submarine?

The submarine is suitable for all ages and non-swimmers. It is a seated, pressurised cabin experience, so it works for families, older guests and anyone who wants to see the reef without getting in the water.

What will you see underwater?

Divers guide fish to the portholes, and the route passes a purpose-sunk wreck that has become an artificial reef. Visibility in the Trou aux Biches lagoon is consistently high for most of the year.
